Davies has appointed senior business strategist Robert Bing as a Partner in its Banking & Markets practice, with a remit to expand its client lifecycle management (CLM) for the US market. Robert is an expert in CLM and an experienced Chief Administrative Officer and strategic business leader, with over 20 years’ experience of working with financial institutions across the US and Europe.
Before joining Davies, Robert served as Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer at HSBC Private Banking, Americas and Santander Commercial Bank, US. He has held positions of Head of Client Lifecycle Management, US Country Head, Head of Business Management and Head of Business Risk & Control Management.
Robert has extensive experience working on process re-engineering, large scale anti money-laundering initiatives, de-risking strategies, managing large cross-functional teams, and working with external regulators and internal auditors. In his early career, he worked in the Litigation & Dispute practice in the financial advisory services group of Deloitte & Touche. Robert holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from New Jersey City University where he majored in Management & Finance and a Masters of Business Administration in Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership from Felician University. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS).
