Alex has worked on a front office (FO) system and data architecture study for a global asset manager and the hedge fund business of a UK asset manager - producing target operating models and recommendations. He has led a vendor selection for an investment management and pension services provider, focusing on investment tooling in the FO, analysing risk and performance analytic data options across multi asset classes. In a recent senior operational role, he supported BAU activities for a client and led multi-team initiatives to enhance trade processing efficiency and strengthen control frameworks. Prior to Davies, Alex completed his MSc at the LSE and worked with an environmental hedge fund to develop trading strategies and build models in Python.
