Mark Davies is a Managing Partner and leads the Retail and Business Finance industry at Davies. His focus it to help clients develop, grow, and thrive in a rapidly evolving financial landscape. He joined Davies following the acquisition of Grovelands, a consultancy and recruitment firm he co- founded and ran for over a decade.   At Davies, Mark leads strategic transformation across the retail and business finance sectors. This is by aligning operational excellence with innovative digital solutions. With a deep understanding of evolving customer expectations and regulatory demands, he helps financial institutions redesign business models, implement intelligent automation, and deliver customer-centric digital experiences. His mission is to empower clients to achieve measurable value and sustainable performance improvements.   Drawing on almost four decades of experience, Mark has built a distinguished career in financial services. He began as an accountant before joining a Big Four professional services firm, becoming a Partner. Here, he led the regulatory consulting practice, directed major remediation programmes through the firm’s processing centre, and delivered strategic projects for international financial centres.   Mark’s work spans major banks, challenger banks, building societies, and specialist lenders. He and his team collaborate to provide tailored advisory and implementation services. These address complex compliance environments, optimise distribution strategies, and embed data-driven decision-making.   He is passionate about understanding the root of client challenges and structuring commercially viable solutions. Fascinated by the impact of technology on financial services, Mark is keenly interested in how innovation will reshape the workforce. He continues to make a positive impact by guiding organisations through regulatory complexity and operational change.
