Senior promotions announced in Davies’ consulting division as firm prepares for further service expansion

Davies announces a new senior operating structure for its Consulting division. Explore how Paul Johnson and Matt Parkinson's newly appointed roles will grow Davies' offering across their four specialist pillars.

Davies, the leading specialist professional services technology company serving insurance and highly regulated markets, today announced a new senior operating structure for its consulting division. The team who will report to Consulting CEO, Pino Vallejo, will be responsible for growing the firm’s consulting offering under four newly created specialist pillars: Insurance, Capital Markets, Asset & Wealth Management, and Retail Finance & Corporate Banking.

The appointments include Paul Johnson as Chief Operating Officer and Matt Parkinson, who will take on a newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer.

During his 12 year tenure at Davies, Paul has led Davies’ Professional Education and People & Organisational Performance practices including Davies Academy and its apprenticeship scheme.

With over 30 years of experience working in – and consulting to – some of the largest global banks and financial institutions, Matt has spent the last 15 years in leadership roles where Davies’ teams have solved some of the most complex industry challenges for its clients. He has deep expertise in accelerating the growth of consultancies and was previously co-head of Davies’ Banking & Markets team.

In April 2024 Davies announced the appointment of Pino Vallejo as CEO of its consulting division. Under Pino’s leadership the global division has diversified and broadened its offering to its insurance, financial services, public sector and other highly regulated clients.

Pino Vallejo, CEO – Consulting, Davies said: “Working with Paul and Matt in their respective new roles, we plan to ambitiously grow our offering across our four specialist pillars and reaching into new geographical markets. Their broad range of experience in client service, technology, operations and organisational development will help us cement our growth strategy and deliver an excellent level of service for our clients in the insurance and financial services sector.”
