Learning & Development
At Davies we are proud to have award winning learning and development. Our training is designed to support the development of skills and knowledge to enable employees to progress in their chosen career path.
As a new member of the team you will be supported through a local induction and development plan and will meet the CEO and colleagues from across the UK and Ireland at our Group Induction. Whatever your role or position in the business, we also have qualification and training programmes in place. We support a wide range of insurance, accounting, HR and IT qualifications and pay for professional memberships that enhance your professional status and contribute to the business growth.
We are very proud of our partnership with Staffordshire University. Our partnership gives us access to academic research, lectures from senior academics and to engage with students for work experience, internships and our Graduate Programme. It also gives our people the opportunity to be expert speakers and we regularly deliver talks to students on career skills, law, business and finance topics.
For managers we have a fantastic leadership and management development programme, supporting aspiring managers, and new and experienced managers. Our three tier management qualification programme supports our managers as they move from being Team Leaders through to our Senior Leadership Team, with the pinnacle being a University Diploma in Leadership & Management from Staffordshire University; it even includes going to the University Graduation Day!
In addition to qualifications there is regular training delivered though the various divisions. We like to mix it up so training can be delivered through our e-learning portal, face to face sessions, seminars and webinars.
All of this is designed to help support your Personal Development Plan that you will develop along with your manager and the learning and development team. Whatever your career path, Davies is sure to support you all the way!
