Davies rebrands Johnson Claim Service & Littleton to Davies as it plans for North American growth and investment in technology and innovation

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – June 1, 2021 – Davies, the leading specialist professional services and technology business, serving the insurance and wider highly regulated markets, today announces that Johnson Claim Service (“JCS”) and The Littleton Group (“Littleton”) have rebranded to Davies as part of its integration plans following Davies’ acquisitions of JCS in November 2020 and Littleton in March 2021.

Operating as Davies, the team will continue to deliver end-to-end claims solutions; including third party administration (“TPA”), claims adjusting and appraisal services to insurance carriers, managing general agents, off-shore & stateside captives, municipalities, private entities, self-insured businesses as well as to London Market Brokers and Lloyds insurance businesses.

The employees of Littleton and Johnson Claim Service will continue in their roles with Davies, supporting its long-term clients with the high level of service they are used to. Bryan Johnson, COO, will continue to lead the day-to-day operations of Davies’ specialist transportation claims offering and Jeff Bode, COO, will continue to head up the Littleton team.

Davies has established and expanded its operations in the US through a combination of strong organic and M&A growth, with the firm’s claims capability spanning the Property & Casualty, the Life & Health and the Transportation insurance markets. Davies’ offering in the US includes a full range of TPA and loss adjusting solutions across all 50 states, as well as captive management, auditing, and actuarial solutions.

In recent years, Davies has increased its annual investments in innovation and digital transformation more than four-fold, including digital customer experience, analytics and automation capabilities that combine claims expertise with cutting-edge technology. The rebrand brings Davies’ technology and innovation experts closer to its US claims experts, supporting the firm’s continued ambitious plans to accelerate growth and expand its service offering for its 800+ clients globally.

In March Davies announced a new shareholder, with BC Partners signing a definitive deal to take a majority stake in the business (subject to customary approvals), to support Davies’ next phase of international expansion and continued digital transformation. Globally, Davies’ 4,500 colleagues operate across Bermuda, Canada, Ireland, the UK and US.
