Despite the challenges of COVID-19 the business has continued its push on international expansion as well as broadening its capability and deepening its domain expertise across the insurance and highly regulated markets.

In the spring of 2020, in response to the pandemic, Davies moved its global operations to a hybrid homeworking model, continuing to ensure high service delivery for its 750+ clients around the world.  In the summer of 2020 the business refocused its Davies Foundation charitable efforts on supporting COVID-19 related causes close to the communities in which it operates.

Over the course of 2020 Davies has completed seven acquisitions including: Keoghs (the insurance-focused, top-50 UK law firm), Codebase8 (the intelligent automation and digital solutions provider to the insurance and other highly regulated markets), Citadel & Cedar Consulting (adding to Davies’ captive solutions), ContactPartners (the specialist cloud application provider, delivering technologies to insurers and banks), TriPlus (the long term care insurance TPA), and Johnson Claim Service (the leading transportation claims specialist).

Globally, Davies has more than 4,000 colleagues, with operating centres across the UK, Ireland, Bermuda, the US and Canada.  The business delivers professional services and technology solutions across the risk and insurance value chain, including excellence in claims, underwriting, distribution, regulation, customer experience, human capital, digital transformation & change management.

In recent years Davies has increased its annual investment in innovation and digital transformation more than four-fold, including in its CQ claims processing platform, legal AI and automation, its video and drone claims handling solutions, as well as investing in intelligent automation, speech analytics and virtual reality training solutions.
