Davies, the leading specialist professional services and technology business, today announces that Paris Baker has been appointed to the role of Group Communications Director and will join the firm’s Executive Leadership Team.

Having successfully headed up Davies’ growing communications department for a number of years, Paris will be responsible for leading the firm’s global internal & external communications and branding strategies and will work closely with Davies’ business CEOs on delivery and acquisition integration. She takes up her new role on 1 November and will continue to report directly to group CEO, Dan Saulter.

Early in 2021 Paris will be relocating to the US, and will undertake her new global role from Nashville, Tennessee.  She will be able to spend more time on the firm’s US focused activities, while supporting its global growth plans.

So far this year, Davies has invested heavily in strengthening its global leadership team, including; James Heath as Group Chief Risk Officer, Jeff Chang as General Counsel, Matt Button as CEO of its US Claims Solutions business, and most recently Dr Nneka Abulokwe, OBE joining the firms’ Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director.

Globally Davies has more than 4,000 colleagues, with operating centres across the UK, Ireland, Bermuda, the US and Canada.  The business delivers professional services and technology solutions across the risk and insurance value chain, including excellence in claims, underwriting, distribution, regulation, customer experience, human capital, digital transformation & change management.
