domusIQ launches global underwriting business, appoints insurance veteran Donald Harrell as Global CEO
London, UK – 3 September, 2026 – domusIQ Inc, the AI-powered analytics platform for commercial real estate, today announces the launch of domusIQ Risk Holding (Bermuda), its new global risk, advisory & capital services business bringing data-led, technology-enabled risk management and insurance solutions to commercial real estate owners worldwide.
Alongside this announcement, the group has launched its UK MGA, domusIQ MGA (UK), which began underwriting on 1 August and is hosted on the Davies MGA Services Limited platform (DMGA).
The UK MGA is the first of several anticipated insurance businesses to be established in the US, EU, Bermuda and other international locations under the domusIQ Risk Holding (Bermuda) umbrella.
domusIQ Risk Holding (Bermuda) will be led by Donald Harrell as Global Chief Executive Officer, Insurance. Harrell brings more than 35 years of specialty insurance and reinsurance experience to the role, having held senior leadership positions at Willis Re, Aspen Insurance, Liberty International, CV Starr and AIG.
The UK MGA will be led by Jordan Moss as Chief Executive Officer, who brings 20 years of experience at Lockton, advising on and placing UK and European real estate insurance programs and specialty solutions into the London market. Moss also has a strong track record in digital product development and transformation.
He is joined by Gemma Jarrett as Chief Underwriting Officer, who brings more than 15 years of broking, MGA and insurance operations experience across the London and UK markets, specialising in delegated authority and MGA build-outs.
Stuart Somerville has also joined as Head of Property, with more than 20 years of London Market real estate underwriting experience, including building a profitable real estate portfolio from inception as Head of Real Estate at Everest. Somerville previously held senior roles at Tokio Marine Kiln, Aviva and Zurich.
Tania Hughes joins as Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 15 years of experience in insurance strategy, operations and business transformation. She has a strong track record of delivering strategic and operational change, and has led the operational build and launch of domusIQ’s UK MGA.
To date, the UK MGA has secured A-rated multi-line capacity of £25m for property and £10m for liability/casualty lines through Bridgehaven’s hybrid fronting model.
The MGA will focus on underwriting commercial real estate, residential and commercial property owners and commercial combined risks.
These segments favour smart buildings and IoT-enabled developments, including where domusIQ’s proprietary CloudLink™ and approved partner technology are deployed, alongside emerging risk products such as crisis response, terrorism & sabotage, and active assailant cover.
The business is underpinned by domusIQ’s technology platform, including its proprietary
CloudLink™ data-collection technology and domusIQ Risk Monitor™, a commercial real estate risk mitigation platform that combines AI-driven insights with expert analyst validation, monitoring more than 10,000 sources 24/7/365 to generate site-specific alerts and, where required, escalate to dedicated Regional Crisis Managers.
Together, these tools support domusIQ Underwriting’s full insurance suite, spanning property & liability, cyber, political violence & terror, embedded insurance, captive solutions and crisis management, enabling sharper underwriting decisions, greater risk transparency and faster speed to market.
Donald Harrell, Global Chief Executive Officer, domusIQ Risk Holding (Bermuda), said: “The launch of domusIQ Risk Holding marks a significant step in bringing data-led, technology-enabled underwriting to real estate markets globally. Having spent my career in specialty insurance and reinsurance, I know the value that real-time building data can bring to pricing and managing risk. The UK launch, led by Jordan and his team, is the first step in building a truly global underwriting business, with Europe and the US to follow.”
Jordan Moss, Chief Executive Officer of domusIQ MGA (UK), said: “We are delighted to be launching in the UK as the first market for domusIQ Underwriting, and to be working with Davies, Bridgehaven and our reinsurers on this important step in our growth. With technology embedded at the core of our proposition, combined with Davies’ platform expertise, we believe this launch will deliver real value for the evolving needs of our clients and the market.”
Paul Jewell, Chief Executive Officer of Bridgehaven, said: “We are pleased to support the launch of domusIQ Underwriting through our hybrid fronting model, backed by a strong panel of Arated capacity. domusIQ’s data-led approach to underwriting real estate risk reflects our desire to work with innovative underwriting teams and we look forward to a long and successful partnership as the business scales into new markets.”
Emma Plush, Managing Director of Intermediaries at Davies, said: “We are extremely pleased to support the launch of domusIQ MGA (UK) on our DMGA platform. By combining Davies’ platform capabilities with domusIQ’s advanced property technology, the business is well positioned to deliver scalable, data-driven underwriting with strong governance and operational efficiency. This further demonstrates our ability to help innovative, tech-forward MGAs bring differentiated propositions to market and support their future growth.”
Sev Keil, Chairman, domusIQ Risk Holding Ltd (Bermuda), said: “The launch of domusIQ Risk Holding is the natural next step for domusIQ, translating the real-time data and insight generated by our proprietary AI platform into a global risk and insurance business.
