Sarasota, Florida, US – February 19, 2024 – Davies, the leading specialist professional services and technology business serving insurance and highly regulated markets, has made two key senior promotions and has announced it will rebrand Johns Eastern, the specialist third-party administration (TPA) and independent adjusting firm, to Davies as it continues its rapid expansion of operations in North America.
Davies announced the acquisition of Johns Eastern in September 2022, which included 250+ employees, and successfully bolstered the firm’s existing capabilities across Workers’ Compensation, Auto, Trucking, General Liability, Property, and Motor Truck Cargo claims. The team, which will now operate as Davies, provides end-to-end claims management services and highly technical field adjusting expertise for large insurers, self-insured corporates, and public entities, as well as the specific requirements of clients operating in the Lloyd’s of London market.
With the rebrand, Beverly Adkins was appointed President of Workers’ Compensation and Property and Casualty TPA for Davies in North America. Formerly Executive Vice President of Johns Eastern, Beverly’s experience in the sector spans 35 years. She will lead her team to provide tailored claims solutions on a local, regional, and national scale.
Also promoted is Brian Harlow, who will be President of Excess & Surplus Lines / Program TPA. Brian, who has over 35 years of experience in the sector, will be responsible for client relationships and making operational efficiencies. Brian and his team will continue to provide claims solutions in the areas of Property and Casualty lines of coverage. Beverly and Brian will report to Don Lederer, CEO of Claims Solutions.
