Captive insurance feasibility studies determine which uninsured risks exist and whether forming a captive insurance company is the best course of action for risk mitigation. Using statistical models, we analyze and review historical data to make predictions.  

Based on the actuarial analysis, pro forma financial statements are drafted to demonstrate how five and 10-year historical losses compare, predicting how future captives will perform. This data informs the program design to ensure the appropriate funding for the desired coverage. 

The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) aims to ensure your employees have access to mental health and substance use disorder (MH/SUD) benefits at a level that is not more restrictive than the health plan’s medical or surgical benefits coverage. Demonstrating compliance, especially around (NQTLs), can be a significant hurdle, and our consultants provide analysis of self-insured group medical plans to test for MHPAEA compliance for NQTL and Quantitative Treatment Limitations (QTL).
