National Property Specialist, HYBRID, Full Time (Vancouver, BC)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Salary range: $80,300.00 – $111,500.00 hourly<\/p>\n

We have an existing opportunity to add a National Property Specialist to our Vancouver team!\u00a0This position will offer \u201cbest in class\u201d Pario services and products to new and existing customers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
As\u00a0National Property Specialist,<\/b>\u00a0you will perform the necessary work to provide building specifications for residential\/commercial\/agricultural Replacement Cost Value (RCV) and Actual Cash Value (ACV) Appraisals, Bid Tendering Documents, Catastrophe Appraisals, Cost Audits, Dispute Resolutions, Building Valuation Appraisals and Appraisals Under the Insurance Act. You have a strong understanding of the mitigation, restoration and new construction processes and are proficient in the use of Xactimate, Word & Excel.\u00a0You are experienced with building construction, building codes and basic electrical and plumbing techniques. Using your field expertise you will perform site inspections, quality surveying, measuring and specifications to provide pricing of various structures. Utilizing time management skills and your marketing\/sales knowledge will assist you in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly productivity requirements. Proficient report writing is also required.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Role Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n Perform the necessary work to provide replacement costs and actual cash value valuations on various residential, commercial, and industrial properties.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Produce specification bid documents including general conditions, specifications, scope of work, bid sheets for building damage repair.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Provide recommendations on protection from further damage as well as recommendations to repair or replace building.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Provide verification of type and cause of damage \u2013 hail, water, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Complete cost audit and file reviews on jobs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Provide valuation appraisals on residential and commercial buildings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Provide recommendations on costing, length of time to repair or to replace dwelling.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Responsible for submitting well written, documented appraisals and reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Appraisals, file audits and reviews to adhere to ParioQuantify quality standards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Invoice a minimum of 37.5 billable hours weekly \/ 1950 billable hours annually.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n You will also promote all ParioQuantify\u2122 services to ClaimsPro adjusters to help ParioQuantify to achieve its budgeted annual post loss appraisal revenue.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n \u00a0 Diploma in Construction\/Building Science, Construction Management, Architectural or Civil Engineering Technology<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Minimum 5 years estimating and project management experience in construction, restoration or insurance industry required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Working Knowledge of Xactimate Estimating Software is required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Excellent verbal and written communications skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Knowledge of Microsoft Office, good computer skills and ability type a minimum of 35 wpm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Capacity to learn various electronic and manual estimating systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Exposure to construction industry and interpretation of building codes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Environment\/Work Conditions:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n Property specialists need to be mobile and physically able to investigate the scene, when required. They are required to work varied hours including dayshifts and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Valid driver\u2019s license and reliable vehicle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Ability to travel, as extensive travel is a requirement of the job.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Ability to lift\/move up to 40lbs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Sit, stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and climb to investigate damaged property.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n All prospective employees must pass a background check.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Must live in Lower Mainland area (Vancouver to Abbotsford)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Competitive Compensation: $80,300.00 – 111,500.00 CAD Annual.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities.
