You will work in a hybrid capacity supporting the Dartmouth, NS area.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause fires.<\/li>\n<li>Interview witnesses, service personnel and other local officials.<\/li>\n<li>Inspections shall include, but not be limited to, roofs, attics, crawlspaces, partially destroyed buildings, fire damaged buildings, and elevated structures.<\/li>\n<li>Able to recognize potential subrogation opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to climb, work at heights, and work at all temperatures is required.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to assess the general safety of damaged fire structures is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Lead project(s) from start to finish.<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear, accurate, and timely reports.<\/li>\n<li>Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause for electrical failures<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with CSA, ASTM, NFPA codes and applications for a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a site-based position. Candidates are required to have their own vehicle and license. We are looking for anyone throughout Atlantic Canada. Our billing centers are Dieppe NB &amp; Dartmouth NS. Office space can be provided but some work from home is required.
