A high street retailer has used intelligent automation to improve the targeting of its sales efforts for an increased return on investment.

Davies was asked to support the business with the understanding of which prospects were most likely to become customers, as well as exploring what their typical value to the business might be.

Our Approach  

By using a range of customer behavioural data and website analytics, we were able to expertly develop a “propensity to purchase model” – a system that allows rapid quantification of potential prospects.

The retailer was then able to utilise this model to target outbound sales operations by focusing on specific subsets of its customer database or selecting particular neighbourhoods and areas for formulated leaflet drops or productive telesales.

Return on Investment

This collaborative approach allowed our client to move fast and implement changes sooner, with greater results. With an outcome of a significantly higher return on its sales effort, they were also able to reduce costs.
